The upper entryway is richly stained and presents a serene, finely detailed example of elegant millwork, carefully proportioned to every wall. Complementing the wall treatments are simple yet substantial cross beams and a distinctive staircase that completes the composition. This French-style entry foyer features gracefully curved details on the doors. And, of course, every formal French entry hall calls for copper pans displayed on the wall. The overall feel is elegant, timeless, bold, and magnificent. This design is unique to White River’s Design Services. These two images showcase our vertical petite panel, the Crested Pierced Panel, expressed in two distinctly different ways. The top image evokes classic French paneling, featuring velvet panel inserts set within a richly stained saloon-style interior. A unique crest crowns the door, adding a refined architectural focal point. Crested panels flank an ornate center panel detailed with rose swags and a central medallion. An embellished arched opening leads to the kitchen, where copper pans continue the design story. The cornice moulding is perfectly scaled to the room’s height and proportions, making this design well suited for a sitting room, dining room, living room, or an elegant primary bedroom. The main fireplace surround is a stock mantel from White River Hardwoods, and it is perfectly complemented by an overmantel with an ornate frame and lightly stained walls. The composition creates a beautiful focal point that invites meaningful conversation. The arched doorway serves as the perfect focal point, flanked by petite panels that are simple yet lovely. A low chairrail allows for increased height in the upper wall panels, giving the space a more open and elevated feel. This added height especially enhances the tall, ornate panels on both sides of the room, lending them grandeur. A two-tone stained finish further highlights the craftsmanship and fine details throughout. The Colonial American Estate style is rich with prestige and charm, defined by soft detailing, an emphasis on paneling, and a high, ornate crown.
