We will also clarify design details and answer any questions. 3) Order The next step is to commission your bespoke piece of metal art by placing a purchase order. We will then create a technical CAD for your review. HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR RANGE HOOD INSERTS: 1. Identify how much CFM (power) you need. CFM is a measurement of power. It stands for “Cubic Feet per Minute”. Our general guideline recommends that your CFM should be equal to 1% of the Total BTU output of your Cooktop. You should also check the CFM recommendation of your Cooktop manufacturer. 2. Identify what size hood your application requires. Your range hood should cover the burners of your cooktop in order to be effective. Taking the width and depth of your Cooktop into consideration will help you choose the appropriate size range hood. 3. Identify what height Range Hood your kitchen can accommodate. We recommend mounting our hoods between 30” to 36” above the cooktop. Calculating the height of this distance above your cooktop will inform you of what height range hood will work for you. 4) Make With your signature on the CAD, production will start. Just 13-15 weeks after you officially commission your piece, your Tailor-Made work of art will be delivered to you.
