BELÉN BURGUETE Onteniente, Spain. Born in Valencia in 1975, Santiago Sevillano is an accomplished designer who has made a significant impact in the industry. He honed his skills in the art of upholstered furniture while working in his father’s studio, and furthered his education in Industrial Design at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. In 2004, Santiago embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, establishing his own studio exclusively dedicated to product design. Santiago’s creations beautifully blend a genuine Mediterranean essence with a global appeal, captivating audiences worldwide. His remarkable designs have graced the walls of prestigious museums and garnered attention from renowned media outlets. Recognized with over 20 international awards and accolades, Santiago’s talent and ingenuity have earned him well-deserved acclaim. Notably, Santiago has recently collaborated with Skyline Design®, where his creative energy has been channeled into the design and development of the captivating Boston and Rodona collections. These projects exemplify his unwavering commitment to crafting sophisticated and functional outdoor furniture that enhances any space. Originally from Ontinyent (Valencia), Belen pursued her passion for design by completing her interior design studies at the School of Arts and Crafts. To further expand her knowledge, she ventured into the realm of architecture and design as a Higher Technician in Building Projects. With invaluable experience gained from working in design studios, Belen embarked on an entrepreneurial path, establishing her own studio. Her expertise encompasses architecture, interior design, and product design, demonstrating her versatile approach. Her designs embody a unique blend of conceptual thinking, freshness, elegance, and a distinct Mediterranean influence, creating captivating and harmonious living spaces. Presently, Belen holds the prestigious role of Director of the Design Department at VOOLCAN group. Alongside creating her own pieces and collections for the brand, she plays a pivotal role in supervising all the designs produced, ensuring the highest standards of creativity and quality are maintained throughout the process.
