THE WOODCRAFT DOOR COLLECTION - Choose your door series The Knotty Alder Estancia ® Series offers a beautiful rustic look and a wide array of finish options. We use real Knotty Alder sustainable hardwood from the American Pacific Northwest (and not a tropical imitation wood). This is a light colored hardwood with mineral streaks and surface knots, and it features a rustic finish when stained and sealed. These doors are offered in 1-3/4” thickness, 2 heights (80” and 96”), and 3 widths (32”, 36”, 42”). See pages 4-7 for factory finish options. For more information on the construction specifications of our Estancia Knotty Alder doors, please refer to our product information guides found at www.glasscraft.com. Please note: Knotty Alder, like all hardwood species, varies in color, graining, and appearance . This variance is one of the natural features of a true wood door and adds to its beauty and authentic appearance. Most Portobello doors feature wide raised moulding and thick raised panels.
